Here is a Quick and Easy Watercolor Card for any occasion!
Easily create this quick and easy Watercolor Moments Card For Any Occasion!
Step 1:
Take your inks and smoosh them onto palette paper or your media mat, spritz once with water. If you spritz more than once the colors are more faded. For a smoother finish, run your finger through the ink before placing your paper on it. For a more mottled look, just tap your paper into the watered ink.
Step 2:
When your paper has dried (air dry or use a heat tool), grab your stencil and dauber and the same colors of ink you used for the watercolor. Pounce your inked up dauber through the stencil. Below is the finished card base. You can let this air dry, but I used my heat tool to set the ink and so I didn’t have to wait long to finish my card!
Step 3:
Take a stamp , ink it in one of the colors to match and stamp a row of the design. Dry the ink and then run the paper and die through your machine. It adds just a touch of texture on your die cut word.
Step 4:
Attach the word to a backing strip of black burlap (or any material you have). I then made the X’s on the ends with some trimming and taped them on the back. I then attached the word strip to the card base.
