Water Coloring with Ann Butler Designs Inks

Good afternoon friends. Larissa here with a card I made by Water Coloring with Ann Butler Designs Inks from Clearsnap.

By mixing a couple of drops of ink refill and a few drops of water you can turn any of Ann Butler Designs Colorbox inks into beautiful water colors.

I first stamped an image in Colorbox ink and embossed it in Colorbox Clear powder.
I heated it with my heat gun to dry.
I then used Ann Butler Designs Colorbox Inks in Berry, Tangelo, and Sunshine and mixed it with water. I painted it on the flowers. I used Evergreen for the stems.

I took the Ann Butler Designs Colorbox Ink in Blueberry and used it for the background of the entire card.

I really love this technique of using the inks as watercolors. You have complete control over how much color you want to use.
I also love using the clear embossing powder when I watercolor.

I hope you enjoyed today’s post. And I hope I inspired you to try water coloring with ink.

Have a wonderful week, friends.

Larissa
