Create a beautiful Velvet Embossed Stamped Pillow with a Faux Quilted design quickly and easily.

This Velvet Embossed Stamped Pillow is an old technique that is quick and easy and the results are always beautiful!

Let’s get started…

Step 1:

Lay Faux Quilting stamps out into a pattern.

Step 2:

Velvet Embossed Stamped Pillow

Spray the back of the velvet and place on top of the stamps, iron.

Step 3:

Remove the velvet, to see the embossed pattern.

Step 4:

Repeat steps 2 & 3 until you have the desired size.

For a smooth finish, cut 2 pieces of Poly-fil® Low Loft batting.  Place 1 on the back side of the velvet, and stitch around the outer edge with a 1/4″ seam.

Repeat with the lining fabric for the back of the pillow, trim excess if needed.  Place right sides of the Velvet Embossed Stamped Pillow front and the lining back together and stitch around with a 1/2″ seam, leaving a 3″ opening to turn.  Turn right sides out.

Step 6:

Velvet Embossed Stamped Pillow

Fill the pillow with Poly-fil® Ultra Plush Fiber Fill.  Stitch opening closed.
