It’s almost time, what time you ask? Pumpkin pie time! Thanksgiving is coming fast and at out get together we never have any forks left after dinner. We always go for the plastic cutlery when it come to pie. We wrap our spoons and forks with a napkin and use a wrap to hold it together, hence the name Thanksgiving Cutlery Wraps!
These are quick and easy to put together!
Let’s get started!
Step 1:
Gather all materials needed.
Step 2:
Trim cardstock into 8 1/2″ X 1″ strips. This will give you 11 strips from a sheet of 8 1/2″ X 11″ cardstock.
Step 3:
Stamp strips using Ann Butler Crafter’s ink in Canyon and Ann Butler stamps by Unity, 1″ Plaid.
Step 4:
Cut strips in half 4 1/4″ X 1″. You know have 22.
Step 5:
Write sentiments onto center of strips. You could use words like “blessed”, “thankful” or “Eat Pie”. I used Fork and Spoon as this is a BIG debate in our house. Some insist to eat with a spoon and others must eat with a fork. It is a huge problem! LOL! As for me…….just give me a whole lot of whip cream and I don’t care if I use a fork or a spoon! Also at this time you can use a blending tool to add some distress to the edges in Tangelo.
Step 6:
Wrap cutlery with a napkin and place wrap and secure with a Glue Dot®.
When finished toss into a basket for each guest to take one.
What is nice about these wraps, you can use them for any holiday or birthdays!
Super easy, and fast!
