Hello, all! Paula here with a SunRay Rainbow Card with Ann Butler Designs Background Basics. We had a few warm days here in the Northwest, but the last few have been rainy and overcast. I wanted a little sun, so decided to do a very bright and fun sunray card! Let’s start!
This truly is a simple card. I started with gathering several colors of Ann Butler Designs ColorBox Crafter Ink I chose the following colors: Blueberry, Ocean Breeze, Evergreen, Tangelo, Aquamarine, Limelight, Lilac, Berry and Sunshine. Coordinating cardstock was selected to go along with each of the inks, and was able to use leftover pieces or scraps I had. I used only one stamp, Ann Butler Designs ColorBox Background Basics in Basket, for the entire card. After stamping each piece of cardstock with each ink color, then I cut the pieces in random sunray shapes.
I used a white cardstock as my base for the card. I adhered each of the sunray pieces around the card. Use a circle punch and white cardstock to cut a circle to put in the center of the sunray. I took each color of ink and rubbed around edge of the circle cutout, as well as around the entire base of the card. I used a marker to write the sentiment.
That’s it for today’s quick and simple! I hope you have a wonderful day and enjoy a bit of sunshine!
Thanks for stopping by!
Paula
