You can create this Stenciled Funky Floral Tote in less than one hour! With some brightly colored inkpads from Ann Butler Designs and some of her awesome new EZ-De’s Stencils from StencilGirl®.
Let me show you how it’s done.
Not only will you have a great place for carrying all of your stuff, with this fabulous tote bag you’ll be the belle of the beach!
Step 1:
Gather all of your supplies. Place a piece of cardboard inside the tote bag before you begin.
Step 2:
Using a paintbrush, apply the Stencil Tac to the back of the stencil. Let dry about five minutes until it feels tacky. Lay the stencil down onto the tote bag.
Step 3:
Apply ink from the inkpads onto the tote bag using a dauber. Remove the stencil, clean it and repeat this step with a new color, until the desired look is achieved.
Step 4:
Stamp the floral images randomly over the tote bag with different colors of inkpads.
Step 5:
To finish the tote bag, adhere ribbon around the top edges and the handles with Fabri-Tac. Next, adhere the blue felt flowers to the tote bag and you’re done!
