Hey crafty friends, Einat Kessler with a new project for your inspiration. The new year has started and Valentine’s day will be here before we know it! Here’s a fun Stamped Valentine’s Day Tote Bag with Ann Butler Designs Faux Quilting Stamps to help you get ready. This month the Creative Team will all be creating with fabric, but as a non-sewer I used a ready made fabric bag. There are a lot of premade fabric products you can use. You can find these little fabric bags anywhere.
This project is pretty easy and doesn’t take a lot of time to create. Here is how I did it.
I arranged a few Ann Butler Designs 1″ Faux Quilting Stamps in a heart shape on my block. I used Ann Butler Designs ColoBox™ Crafter’s Ink to stamp the fabric. This ink works really good on fabric as it does on paper. Just use your heat tool to dry and set it. I rearranged the stamps to form a smaller heart and stamped the image on the bag. I used the vibrant Berry color ink.
Then I cut out a little heart shape and use it as a stencil to stamp smaller heart shapes around the bag.
Now all you need is to fill this bag with lots of candy or chocolate and give it to your Valentine…
Have fun creating!
Einat
