Create a quick and easy stamped planner bow clip with unique plaid stamped design.
Thanks for stopping by Ann Butler Designs blog today, Tammy here with another fun and easy planner accessory idea. I like making cute little accessories for my planner. I also attend planner events that have something called a “swap”, where each attendee makes a small item to “swap” with the other attendees at the event.
This stamped planner bow clip is another inexpensive and easy to make item you could swap with your planner friends at planning events. You can easily change the ink color, stamp design and ribbon color based on the seasons, holidays or theme of the event you are attending. Follow my posts here on Ann’s blog for new bow clip designs in the coming months for different seasons and holidays.
Here is how to make this bow clip:
Step 1:
Step 2:
Load 1″ Square Plaid Stamp with Canyon color ink and press in the center of the ribbon creating a repeat pattern. This is so easy to do because the stamps have no lip on them and you can see exactly where to make the next stamped impression.
Step 3:
Dry with a heat tool to speed up drying process.
Step 4:
Bring ends together in the center
and pinch to form the bow
Step 5:
Remove any wires from second piece of ribbon and tie a knot in the center. Add a dot of glue in the center of the bow and attach the clip.
Step 6:
Wrap ribbon around center of bow and tie another tight knot in the back of the clip making contact with glue to hold in place. Trim any long ends off.
What color and pattern will you use to make your stamped planner bow clip?
