Hi everyone! It’s Carmen here today and I’ll be showing you my latest stamping project using Ann Butler’s Crafters Inks and Faux Quilting stamps.
I send out a lot of packages and always like to wrap each item up with lots of ribbon and a cute personalized tag. Usually I use purchased tags but this time I decided to make my own. The 1″ Faux Quilting square and triangle stamps reminded me of little houses so I spent a lovely couple of hours stamping and drawing fun tags to go on all my packages. A binder ring keeps the tags organized while a metal tin box stores everything together. And there is just enough room in the tin box to fit a black marker for adding a quick note to the back of a tag.
Here’s how:
Materials and Supplies:
Ann Butler’s Faux Quilting Stamps by Unity Stamp Company – 1″ Diamonds and Plaid, 1″ Stripes/Dots/Hearts
Ann Butler Colorbox Crafter’s Ink by Clearsnap: Tangelo, Aquamarine, Lilac, Limelight, Berry
Small plain paper tags
Black permanent marker
Metal tin box
Instructions:
1. Using your choice of stamp pad inks, stamp a square and a triangle to make a little house on each paper tag (I love the mix of patterns and colors!) Outline the house with the black marker. Add details.
2. Thread the tags onto a binder ring and store the tags and marker in the metal tin box.
Easy peasy! Wouldn’t these be adorable gifts to make with a youngster? They are almost to cute to give away – but do because now you know how to make more! Enjoy!
