Hello everyone,
Zoey’s here to show you a quick and easy way to create simply yet cute backgrounds using ColorBox Crafter’s Ink by Ann Butler, Art Screens e Faux Quilting Stamps by Ann Butler.
Products I used are:
- ColorBox Crafter’s Ink® by Ann Butler ( Evergreen, Deep woods, Ocean Breeze
- Ann Butler Faux Quilting Stamps from Unity Stamp Company
- ColorBox® Art Screens by Ann Butler (Stars)
Here’s what I did :
I covered the tag surface with gesso and I let it dry. I wanted to add gesso because the base of my Tag was craft paper, and I didn’t want dark colors, I wanted to keep the brightness of the ColorBox Crafter’s Ink by Ann Butler. I used as always the ink pads as water colors and with a brush I added water and colored the background.
I then added some modeling paste through the Stars ColorBox Art Screens by Ann Butler.
I LOVE the fact that these stencils are so thick, it make it so easier when you are looking for a very thick modeling paste look.
I set aside to dry meanwhile I wrote the little sentiment over a scrap paper I had laying around the desk.
When the modeling paste was dry I added some stamp.
I love using Ann Butler Faux Quilting Stamps by Unity Stamp Company because they are small (they also come in bigger version) and they look great even just stamped one time by thereself
I used again ColorBox Crafter’s Ink by Ann Butler for my stamping, and the color is so perfect. The super juicy ink made it easier for me to achieve a great stamping image.
Then what was left to do was adding some flowers and embellish it. I also added a scribbled line with a gel pen and traced around three stars just to make them pop a little.
Stay happy stay creative…till next time!
Ciao Zoey
