Simple Faux Stitched Hello Card

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here sending you a sweet and cheery hello today.

Supplies:

• ColorBox Crafter’s® by Ann Butler – Ocean Breeze, Blueberry, Desert Sand
• ColorBox® Background Basics by Ann Butler –  Stitch Stamps
• JoyClair Stamps – Hello Autumn
• Spellbinders dies
• Whisker Graphics Twine

Using one of the Stitch Stamps, stamp with Blueberry ink on an angle creating a triangular design on white cardstock.   Don’t be overly concerned with the center of the design since we will add cardstock across the center.  Ink the edges of the panel with Desert Sand.  To really hightly the design, mat the panel with navy cardstock.

Die cut 2 Spellbinders flowers.  Leaving the die in place, ink with Blueberry and Ocean Breeze inks.

Place a 1″ strip of navy cardstock across the center of the panel and wrap with twine.  Add the panel to the card.   Cut a 2″ square of white cardstock and ink the edges with Desert Sand.  Mat with navy cardstock and add to card with foam adhesives for dimension.  Add the 2 flowers created above to the square, arranging them so all the petals show.

Stamp “Hello” with Blueberry Ink.  Die cut and ink the edges with Ocean Breeze.  Place on the card with foam adhesives.
