Hey crafty friends, Einat Kessler here with a new project. I always like to be prepared. If it’s a wedding, a holiday or any other occasion I like to have ready made cards and gift tags. This way I will not be caught off guard. After all these years I’m expected to give handmade cards, original gift wrapping and gift tags etc. so I have to live up to my reputation!
I was invited to a Brit. This is the Jewish circumcision ceremony and it’s a big deal. It’s a big event with lots of guests, food and of course presents for the new baby. I had already bought my gift and I had to attach a gift card which I didn’t have…so I quickly made one with Ann Butler Designs Faux Quilting Stamps. And if it took me 5 minutes it’ll take you 5 minutes, so you better make a few of those, for girls too, so next time you’ll have them when you need them.
I stamped a tag with Ann Butler Designs 2″ Faux Quilting Stamps using the beautiful Ann Butler Designs Aquamarine Colorbox™ Crafter’s Ink By Clearsnap. I know it’s a traditional color for a baby boy but I was pressed for time and didn’t have time for originality. I embellished the tag with a few stickers, felt shapes and a matching color flower. It’s actually a really good way to use up leftover supplies like old stickers or cutouts. And you don’t have to make baby gift tags you can make any type of tag you need.
I was really happy with my tag and I attached it to the present. The parents loved it too…
Have fun creating!
Einat
