Hello friends, Larissa here today with a fun last minute Quick and Easy Halloween Card.
What I used:
- Ann Butler ColorBox™ Crafter’s from Clearsnap Ink: Tangelo, Lilac.
- Ann Butler Designs Faux Quilting Stamps from Unity Stamp Company: 1″ Leaves All Over, 1″ Stripes. Dots. Hearts.
- White cardstock and a piece of colored cardstock
- Blending tool
- Heat Tool
- Clearsnap Clear Embossing Powder
- ColorBox Crafter’s Ink in Snow
- Anti-Static Powder Tool
- Velum
- Clearsnap Black Ink pad
- Halloween sentiment and embellishments
- Scotch Extra Strength Adhesive Roller
How I made this card:
- I rubbed my anti-static powder tool all over the piece of white cardstock and then stamped the images across the cardstock using the snow ink. Once I was finished I poured the embossing powder over the top being sure to coat it all evenly and then tapped the excess off. I heated the cardstock with the heat tool until it was all melted and shiny.
- I took the blending tool and blended the Tangelo and Lilac ink onto the cardstock right over the top of the embossing. The embossing makes the ink resist the color.
- I hit the card again once I was done blending the color all over with my heat tool just to make sure it was dry.
- I stamped the sentiment twice on a piece of vellum and adhered it onto the card front with a small amount of tape.
- I kind of liked the plan card it looked nice and clean and not busy. So to finish it off I added these cute little Halloween cupcakes to the bottom corner.
- I adhered the card front to the mat and to the card base again using the Scotch adhesive.
And that was all there is. Super simple. You could use any colors and any sentiment too. I just love the way the ink does not stick to the embossed part.
Have a wonderful rest of your day and Happy Halloween friends.
