Hello, Everybody Vishu here today, to share a Quick & Easy Fun Stamped Bookmark project with you all, made entirely using Ann Butler Designs Crafters Ink by Clearsnap and her 1″ Square Faux Quilting Stamps.
I am not ready to say good bye to summer yet but at the same time I love Fall cause its time for baking and curling up in a blanket and reading tons of books, so to get ready I made this quick & easy fun stamped bookmark to escape into different worlds…
So lets get started…
Step 1:
First I dabbed the different color inks on an acrylic block and sprayed it with water.
Step 2:
Stamp the acrylic block on a water color paper, keeping in mind to make a good impression and wait for the ink to get soaked in the paper.
Step 3:
This image alone makes for a interesting background, where you can play around with the colors to make it look different every time. Next, I laid out the 1″ square Faux Quilting stamps on my acrylic block and stamped it over the colorful background to create this fun stamped bookmark.
Step 4:
I cut out the bookmark and layered it on black card stock and another layer of watercolor paper as shown in the photo below. Then, I attached a ribbon and hand wrote “My Escape” for the final look.
I also created another background with a smaller acrylic block and I think I am going to use this one as a gift tag. This quick and easy fun stamped bookmark project would also make a perfect gift for the book lovers in your life.
