Hello everyone!
Zoey’s here — this will be my first post as Ann Butler’s design team member and I think that to say that I am excited it is not even close to how I really feel!!
Here’s what I used to make this card :
- Ann Butler’s Iridescents by Earth Safe Finishes
- Ann Butler’s Crafter’s Inks by Clearsnap
- Ann Butler Designs Faux Quilting Stamps by Unity Stamp Company
- Adhesive Technologies
To start with, I cut a piece of white cardstock and I used the Ann Butler’s Iridescents to add some color, then I smudged the Ann Butler’s Crafter’s Inky by Clearsnap in the aquamarine color on my kraft sheet and with a watercolor brush I added it to the background. I did this because I wanted to tone a bit down the amazing Iridescents color in some part of the background. I also added few splashes of color here and there to make the background interesting.
I grabbed some other Ann Butler’s Crafter’s Inks in the color of Berry and Black and randomly stamped over the background with my favorite stamp set by Ann Butler Faux Quilting Stamps , I used the 1” Leaves all Over.
To color my roses I used again the Ann Butler’s Iridiscents color. I love how bright the color is!
All was left to do was to glue everything together, to do this I used Adhesive Technologies, and there you have it! A simple and cute card for a friend!
What do you think about it?
I hope you had fun and got inspired…stay happy stay creative, till next time!
Ciao, Zoey
