Welcome fall and all the rich colors that come with you with this Happy Fall Y’all Canvas Banner.
This is a a quick and easy fall banner to decorate your home.
Step 1:
These are canvas banner pieces I had in my stash. Paint the banners with Iridescents paints and let dry. I used Tangelo and Sheer Bronze. I used my heat gun to help them dry more quickly.
Step 2:
Once the paint is dry I stenciled over the banners with Crafter’s Ink in Canyon and Bark. I heat set the ink with my heat tool and set the banners aside.
Step 3:
I found some pretty white flowers in my stash and colored them to match with the Crafter’s Ink and a waterbrush. I moved these to the side to let them dry as I was a bit heavy with the water while painting them.
Step 4:
I used cream colored cardstock and drew a rough circle using a little plastic container, then stenciled the letters to spell “fall” in the circles. Heat set the ink. Cut out the circles and edge in a permanent ink.
Step 5:
The last step is putting all the pieces together. I added some hemp twine just randomly behind the monogram medallions. I used some sheer green ribbon to thread my banners together, but you could use twine or jute or whatever matches your decor. The last step for me was attaching my painted flowers and a tiny flower on each side of the large one. Have fun and create a Happy Fall Y’all Canvas Banner of your own.
