Hello, friends. Do you make or buy Thank You cards? I needed a thank you card for a friend and since I make all my cards, I pulled out my Ann Butler Designs Faux Quilting Stamps and created a Faux Quilted Stamped Thank You, Card.
I used:
- Ann Butler Designs ColorBox™ Background Basic Stamps Picnic 1
- Ann Butler Designs ColorBox™ Crafter’s Ink in Berry, Sunshine and Tangelo
- Ann Butler Designs 1″ Faux Quilting Stamps
- White cardstock
- colored cardstock (I used a shade of blue)
- Scissors
- Liquid adhesive
- embellishments
- die cut word
How I made it:
- This card was pretty simple. I stamped the triangle using the Berry ink 8 times.
- I then stamped the same triangle 4 more times using the Tangelo ink.
- I had cut each triangle and put them aside.
- I then stamped the Picnic stamp in the middle of a piece of white cardstock.
- The piece was pre-cut 5 1/4 X 4.
- I then adhered the triangles in a quilt pattern around the card.
- I die cut the word thanks 3 times.
- I then adhered all the triangles to the card front.
- I matted the card on a piece of blue card stock and then adhered everything to the card base.
- To finish off the card I added a few sequins.
