Hello, friends, Larissa here with a Faux Quilted Pumpkin Pillow. It is the 2nd day of October, Wow, where did September go? Who has already decorated for Halloween? I am trying to get my decorations up now. I always add a little something new to my decor each year. The past few years it has been something I have made. This year I made this adorable little Faux Quilted Pumpkin Pillow to place on my sofa.
What you will need:
- Two 12 x 12 pieces of burlap
- Ann Butler Background Basics Stamps by Clearsnap™
- Ann Butler Crafter’s Ink by Clearsnap™ : Black, Tangelo, Evergreen
- Sewing Machine
- Two buttons for the eyes if you wish
- Strip of burlap for the bow
- Fabri Tac by Beacon Adhesives
- Pillow Stuffing
What you will do:
- Stamp a pumpkin shape onto one of the 12 x 12 pieces of burlap.
- Sew up the sides of the pillow leaving an opening to stuff your pillow stuffing.
- Stuff the pillow then sew up the opening in the pillow.
- Glue your buttons on for eyes.
- Make ya bow out of the strip of burlap and adhere it to the stem of the pumpkin.
It is that simple.
You could also make a cute scarecrow for fall if you don’t decorate for Halloween. How fun would that be?
I hope you enjoyed my post today. Don’t forget to check back to see what the Design Stars are creating for you. They are always full of surprises.
Have a wonderful day friends.
