Faux Quilted Pumpkin Pillow

Hello, friends, Larissa here with a Faux Quilted Pumpkin Pillow.  It is the 2nd day of October, Wow, where did September go?  Who has already decorated for Halloween? I am trying to get my decorations up now. I always add a little something new to my decor each year.  The past few years it has been something I have made.  This year I made this adorable little Faux Quilted Pumpkin Pillow to place on my sofa.

What you will need:

• Two 12 x 12 pieces of burlap
• Ann Butler Background Basics Stamps by Clearsnap™
• Ann Butler Crafter’s Ink by Clearsnap™ : Black, Tangelo, Evergreen
• Sewing Machine
• Two buttons for the eyes if you wish
• Strip of burlap for the bow
• Fabri Tac by Beacon Adhesives
• Pillow Stuffing

What you will do:

1. Stamp a pumpkin shape onto one of the 12 x 12 pieces of burlap.
2. Sew up the sides of the pillow leaving an opening to stuff your pillow stuffing.
3. Stuff the pillow then sew up the opening in the pillow.
4. Glue your buttons on for eyes.
5. Make ya bow out of the strip of burlap and adhere it to the stem of the pumpkin.

It is that simple.

You could also make a cute scarecrow for fall if you don’t decorate for Halloween. How fun would that be?
