Hello friends, Larissa here with a faux quilted card I created today for Halloween.
Last week if you remember I posted a Faux Quilted Pumpkin Pillow I made.
Well, I am using the same pattern and made a card. I used almost all of the 1 inch Faux Quilting squares and triangle stamps for this card.
Here is what I used:
- Ann Butler 1″ Faux Quilting Stamps by Unity Stamp Co: Doily Picnic, Stripes. Dots. Hearts., Leaves all Over, Diamonds & Plaid
- Ann Butler ColorBox Crafter’s™ Ink : Evergreen, Tangelo, Black
- White, Black and Orange Cardstock
- Green and White Twine
- Scotch Extra Strength Adhesive Roller
- White Embossing Powder
- Happy Halloween sentiment stamp
What I did:
- Lay all the stamps in the pattern you want to make on a large acrylic block.
- Stamp them on a piece of white cardstock using the Tangelo
- Stamp the eyes and nose stamps in black in between the blank spaces
- Stamp the stem and leaves using the Evergreen
- Cute the pumpkin out with your detail scissors
- Tie twine around the stem and tie a bow
- Add your sentiment and emboss it in white on the Black cardstock
- Adhere the pumpkin to the black cardstock then to the orange card base.
So simple and easy. What a fun festive card.
I hope you enjoyed my post today. Have a wonderful day friends.
Larissa
