Hello Everybody! Vishu here today to share a fun Faux Quilted Card with Bling using Ann Butler Designs stamps, inks and rhinestone genie.
Instructions:
Step 1
Firstly, I stamped the 1″ square faux quilt stamps with Berry and Limelight ink onto white card stock and cut them out.
Step 2
Then, I created a frame, by gluing the stamped cut out images onto a piece of white card stock.
Now comes the fun part to bling it up for which I used the Ann Butler’s 1″ Quilt Square by Rhinestone Genie.
Step 3
Lay the pattern on the metal tray and spread the rhinestones with the brush. The rhinestones get nestled into the holes of the magnetic sheet and because it is magnetic it does not move. Once all the holes are filled move the access rhinestones in the corner of the tray. Then stick the sticky sheet over the top.
Step 4
Make sure to press the sticky sheet well over the entire pattern so all of the rhinestones adhere to the sheet.
Step 5
Place the the sheet exactly where you want it on the card.
Step 6
The final step to create a handmade card with Bling is to iron over the sheet. Iron for about a minute. Lift the sheet a little bit to make sure all the rhinestones stuck. This tool will give you perfect results every time as long as you follow the manufacturer’s steps.
Step 7
Pull the plastic sheet off and place it back on the backing paper as the sheet can be used multiple times.
Step 8
Trim and finish the card with a stamped sentiment and layer it on a card base to create this Faux Quilted Card with Bling.
