Larissa here with a Faux quilted background birthday card using Ann Butler Designs Unity Stamp Co Faux Quilted Stamps and ColorBox Inks.
Today I took a piece of 110 lb white cardstock and inked up the stripe stamp from the
1″ Stripes.Dots.and Hearts Stamp set, with ColorBox Ink Aquamarine. I stamped the pattern along the edge of the cardstock creating a pattern. I then took the Dot stamp and inked it in Sunshine first and stamped down the middle of the cardstock. Then took my darker color which was Limelight and did the same thing. I then used the inks with a little water and colored in the birthday cake image. I cut the image out and adhered it to the middle of the pattern background using some foam adhesive squares. I then used a birthday greeting from The Stamps of Life set birthday4cookie to add to the bottom of the card. I finished it off with a few Doodlebug sequins and a piece of twine.
I hope you enjoyed my card for today. Don’t forget you can see more of my work

Have a wonderful day everyone. Until next time……
