DIY: Faux Quilted Star Card Tutorial

Hey crafty friends, Einat Kessler here with a Faux Quilted Star Card to inspire you. I love Ann Butler Designs Faux Quilting stamps and I really love creating patterns with them. You can create amazing patterns just like those intricate patterns on quilts. So I decided to try and create a pattern on a card.

Faux Quilted Star Card

I started with placing two 1″ Faux Quilting square stamps and one triangle. I stamped a piece of cardstock four times rotating my block a quarter turn to the left each time.

Then I removed one square and stamped the cardstock again in a different color. For stamping. I used Ann Butler Designs ColorBox Crafter’s Ink by Clearsnap. After the initial pattern was done I added more squares and triangles around it to create the background.

To finish my card I added some square stickers and a heart I cut from the same piece of cardstock. I hope you were inspired to create some original quilting patterns too!

Have fun creating!
