Hello Crafters, Zoey is here, to share a stamped card I made for a friend of mine to Enjoy Life! I used only one color and it is his favorite color! It is a really simple and easy card and I will show you how to use the Ann Butler’s stamps as a paper embellishment!
To create this card I used :
- Ann Butler Crafters Ink by Clearsnap – Blueberry
- Ann Butler Designs Faux Quilting Stamps from Unity Stamp Company – 1” Leaves all over
- EZ-DE’s Rail Fence Set A
I cut the base of the card to be 4 1/2” x 4 1/2” then I cut another piece of card stock to be slightly smaller than my base. I smudged a bit of the Crafters Ink over my craft sheet and I added a bit of water. With a brush I dipped the color and flickered some drops of ink here and there.
Then I used one stamp from the EZ-DE’s set, the heart strip one and with the same Blueberry Ink I stamped it twice. I set it aside to let the ink dry, meanwhile I took one stamp from the Faux Quilting Stamp set and stamped over another piece of white cardstock.
I like to create my own patterned paper especially with this stamp! I think it is one of my favorite!
I grabbed a small tag I had in my stash and added some color (it was kraft color) with the ink that was left over my craft sheet.
I cut to size the patterned paper that I created and stitched it to the small tag.
I stitched also all around my card base and then I adhered everything together.
The sentiment is stamped with the same ColorBox Crafters Ink by Ann Butler Blueberry.
I really like this simple card, and I love how the patterns all works together!
What about you? Do you like stamping your own patterned paper?
I hope you will like this card, stay happy stay creative, till next time!
