Ann Butler Designs – ETI Resin Blog Hop

Welcome the the Ann Butler Designs – ETI Resin Blog Hop!

The Creative Team has been busy creating projects using Ann Butler Designs and ETI products to create some great projects for you. To get started I created…

a Faux Quilted Resin Coaster. Here’s how to create it:

Choose a 2″ Triangle, two 1″ Triangles and a 1″ square from the Faux Quilting line and place them onto an acylic block to create a square as shown. Using Archival Dye Ink…

Stamp onto white card stock…

Four times to create a pinwheel pattern.

Choose 4 – 6 colors of the Ann Butler Crafter’s Ink. Using daubers…

Add colors to the image.

Cut the image to 4″ and heat set.

Cut a piece of yellow card stock 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″. Using Ultra-Seal…

Attach the yellow card stock to a black 4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ tile. Center and attach the pinwheel design on top of the yellow card stock with the Ultra-Seal. Apply two coats of the Ultra-Seal on the top layer, let dry.

Measure out equal amounts of the hardener and resin of EnviroTex Lite, stir two minutes. Pour into a second cup and stir for another minute.

Place the coaster up off the surface. Pour resin mixture onto the top of the coaster.

Use a disposable brush to move the resin to the edges and to catch the drips that run off the edges.

Use a lighter to remove the air bubbles, if any. Let dry for 24 hours.

I love how this turned out!!

Home Decor with Ann Butler Designs

Hello friends. With the holiday season ending soon, we will be taking down all the Christmas decorations and changing things up. Why not create your own home decor with Ann Butler Designs products.
I have a few different projects below that some amazing designers have created doing just that. Remember anything is possible. If you think it you can create it.

Designer Chana Harris created this awesome Garden Wall Canvas using Limelight Iridescents.

Creative Team member Vishu created this Mixed Media Home Decor Canvas using Iridescent Powders.

Creative Team member Irit created this Altered Kitchen Board using my Iridescents in Limelight, Lipstick and Lilac.

Creative Team member Madeline created this fun Chalk Up Autumn Decor using Sheer Gold Pearl Iridescents. Actually I think this would look lovely anytime of the year on a table. Maybe just change up the flowers. It is very Country Chic.

Creative Team member Steph created this fun Chic and Classy Wall Hanging using Ocean Surf Iridescents. I think this would look create in a teenagers room or even a craft room. What a fun piece.

Designer Marfa Otano created this fun Shabby Chic Beauty using Sapphire Iridescents.
So creating new home decor is easy. You can even upcycle something you already have that you may be tired of or just don’t like. You can search Ann Butler Designs blog, Facebook page and Pinterest for more inspiration. There are so many great projects out there and I promise if you sit and think long enough you can come up with something on your own.

Ann Butler Designs and Deflecto Blog Hop

Hello, friends. Welcome to the Ann Butler Designs and Deflecto Blog Hop “Spring into Creativity”!

Today the Design Stars have some amazing creations for you. Leave a comment on each blog as you hop and let the girls know how much you like their creation.
Today I have for you a quilt block I made and put in the Deflecto 12×12 clear frame.

I used:
-Ann Butler Designs ColorBox Crafter’s Ink® in Limelight, Lilac, Ocean Breeze, and Berry
-Colorbox® Embossing Powder in Clear
-Ann Butler Designs Colorbox® Background Basic Stamps in Checks 1 and Picnic 2
-Vellum
-Heat Tool
-12×12 white cardstock

What I did:

I stamped the Background Basic stamps on a piece of white cardstock using three colors of ink in a quilt block pattern.
While the ink was drying I stamped the word Faith using the Berry ink on a piece of vellum and embossed it using clear embossing powder.
I adhered it onto the quilt block with some clear adhesive.
To finish it off I added three small buttons to the bottom.
I then slid it into the 12×12 frame.

A super simple project to display your favorite quilt block.

Hello, Friends! Larissa here with you today to share some awesome creations I found while searching the web. We love seeing Lovely Creations By Our Friends on the web.

I love the ink colors everyone used in their designs. They really are bright and colorful. Did you know Ann Butler has 12 yes 12 different colors of Colorbox Crafter’s Ink® from Clearsnap?

In order of pictures. you have Tangelo, Evergreen, Desert Sand, Ocean Breeze, Canyon, Deep Woods, Blueberry, Sunshine, Berry, Lilac, Limelight and Aquamarine. Which is your favorite? For me, it depends on the season. I love the bright colors for the spring and summer and the darker colors for the fall and winter. Of course, you can use them for holidays too. The Evergreen, Deep Woods, and Canyon would be awesome for Christmas.

Good morning friends. Larissa here with a round-up of 12 Cards to Inspire You to create with Ann Butler’s products.

I asked each of our Design Stars out of all the cards they have made which is their favorite. For some of them, this was easy. For a few, it was hard to pick just one.
