Use Mixed Media supplies to create a lovely scrapbook layout.
This little princess of mine is my favorite layout subject. She is just too cute for words. These photos were just casual shots I took one day while she was with me – and they are some of my very favorites!
Step 1:
Use a stencil to add color to the background. Simply lay your stencil on the page and use a sponge or dauber to add color in light layers. You can always add another layer of color if you want to make it darker.
Step 2:
Distress the edge of the background paper and ink. Use stamps and ink to add faux stitching around the outer edge of the page.
Step 3:
Use a sponge dauber to apply color to your chipboard pieces, and allow to dry.
Once you have all the mixed media elements prepared, finish your layout by adhering all your pieces together, adding your photos, and finishing with embellishments.
