Hello everyone, Tammy with you today with a fun BFF gift that your friends will love. I recently took a vacation with my best friends and we had such a blast. I wanted to create a frame to hold my favorite vacation photos from our trip. Here is how I made it…
Supplies:
- Ann Butler Designs Faux Quilting Stamps
- ColorBox Crafter’s Inks by Ann Butler
- Ann Butler Designs Background Stamps
- Dollar Store frame
- Sentiment and photos
Directions:
Use Ann Butler Designs Crafter’s Inks and Faux Quilting Stamps to create a quilted effect around the outside of the frame.
I used several different colors and most of the styles of the Faux Quilting Stamps, to create this fun quilted effect on the raised areas of the frame.
Once you are finished stamping, allow the ink to dry completely or use a heat tool to heat seal the ink. Since I used a faux wood frame, you might want to seal the ink on the frame further. I recommend adding a layer of clear nail polish or spray varnish on top of the ink. If you are using a wood frame, you can skip this step.
That’s it, so easy to make and I love looking at it on my desk! I hope this gives you some new ideas how to use Ann Butler’s Crafter’s Inks and Ann Butler’s Faux Quilting stamps 🙂 Happy stamping!
