Background Basics Mini Card Set

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with a quick and easy Background Basics Mini Card Set.

Gather up some cardstock, flowers, brads, punches as well as Ann Butler Designs Stamps and Inks from Clearsnap and these cards come together in less than 30 minutes.

Ann Butler’s new foam stamps from Clearsnap come in 3″ square and 3″ triangles and  4 different styles.

Using Ann Butler’s Crafter’s Ink in Aquamarine, Canyon and Blueberry, I stamped three different faux quilting stamps on white cardstock.  I cut around them leaving a little border which I then inked with the same color used on the stamps.

I cut cardstock 3 1/2″ x 7″ and folded to create 3 1/2″ square cards.  The stamped panels were centered on the cards.  Flowers were added to the corner and the sentiment were stamped with the same color as the quilted pattern.

I’m thinking of making several more of these cards and giving them as gifts.  What do you think?
