Hello friends, Donna here to bring you some cold weather card inspiration. I don’t know about where you live, but here in MN we have had snow and cold weather. Makes you say “Baby, It’s Cold Outside”. That is where the inspiration came for Baby, It’s Cold Outside Stamped Card. This is perfect to give someone right now, add a gift card inside for some specialty coffee or some yummy hot chocolate.
Here in MN the cold season is upon us and around here it gets mighty cold. Hockey season is well on its way. As I write this, it is trying to snow and it is 36° out. Brrrr!!!
So this card will come in handy to warm someone right up!
Let’s Start!
Step 1:
Die cut mug die from white cardstock. Trim to size base paper to 4″ X 5 1/4″ and 1/2″ X 4″. Stitch around the outside edge of the 4″ X 5 1/4″.
Step 2:
Adhere small piece of trim to bottom of paper.
Step 3:
Stamp mug die using Ann Butler ColorBox ink in Canyon and the Background Basics Basket Weave stamp. Heat set ink.
Step 4:
Attach base paper onto card. Adhere mug onto card. Stamp out or use computer for sentiment. Cut out embellishments and adhere onto card. Stamp or write sentiment inside card and you are finished.
