Quick and Easy Thanksgiving Card

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving with a Quick and Easy Thanksgiving Card.

Supplies:

ColorBox Crafter’s® by Ann Butler – Deep Woods, Tangelo, Desert Sand
Unity Stamp Co. – 1″ Faux Quilting Stamps
JoyClair Stamps – sentiment
Spellbinders Dies
Beacon Adhesives
Whisker Graphics Twine

I used the Dots stamp with Tangelo Ink to create the background for both cards, then inked the panels with Desert Sand before matting with kraft cardstock. Across the center, I added a panel using the Stripe stamp with Deep Woods Ink. Then a smaller panel using the leaves stamp with Deep Woods Ink.

A variety of leaves were die cut and added to the cards and a simple “Thanksgiving” sentiment was stamped in Deep Woods Ink and added across the center of each card.

Quick and Easy Thank You Card

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with a Quick and Easy Thank You Card.

Supplies:

ColorBox Crafter’s® by Ann Butler – Deep Woods
Unity Stamp Co. – 2″ Faux Quilting Stamps
Spellbinders Dies
Beacon Adhesives
Whisker Graphics Twine
Ribbon

Cut kraft cardstock to 4 1/4″ x 11″ and score in half to create a top fold card.

Die cut thanks from green cardstock and place the die cut word aside. Using the negative “thanks”, place pink cardstock behind the word. Cut the panel to fit the card and ink the edges with Deep Woods Ink.

Starting at the bottom edge, stamp the 2″ Dots and Stripes stamps on the cardstock panel using Deep Woods Ink.

Wrap the panel with pink ribbon and tie with twine.

Use Beacon Adhesives to adhere the panel to the card.

A very simple, but effective thank you card.

Reindeer Treat Bag Set

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here with a set of Reindeer Treat Bags.

Supplies:

ColorBox Crafter’s® by Ann Butler – Desert Sand, Canyon, Deep Woods
ColorBox® Background Basics by Ann Butler – Stitch Stamps
Unity Stamp Co. – 1″ Faux Quilting Stamps
Joy Clair Stamps
Spellbinders Dies
Beacon Adhesives
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder
Whisker Graphics Bags and Twine

Stamp a variety of designs on the bags using Canyon and Deep Woods Inks. It’s ok not to be precise since additional elements will be added to each bag.

Use the Stitch Stamps to bring in the 2nd color, stamping them where the quilting stamps meet.

Wrap each bag with twine.

Die cut ovals to fit the front of each bag.

Emboss the oval and lightly ink with Desert Stand.

Die cut a reindeer for each bag and lightly in with Desert Sand.

Fill each bag with small treats and give to family and friends.

I’m thinking these would look nice on the dining room table this holiday season.

Fall Inspired Stamped Friendship Card

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here with a fall inspired Friendship card.

Supplies:

ColorBox Crafter’s® by Ann Butler – Tangelo, Canyon, Deep Woods, Desert Sand
Unity Stamp Co. – 1″ Faux Quilting Stamps
Joy Clair Stamps
Spellbinders dies
Whisker Graphics

Create a card from green cardstock.
Stamp 1″ Dots Stamp repeatedly across front of card with Deep Woods Ink.
Wrap card with Whisper Graphics twine.

Die cut an oval for the center of the card.
Using Joy Clair stamps, arrange them on the oval and ink with assorted colors of inks using an art dauber.
Stamp on the oval.

Ink around the oval with Deep Woods Ink.
Die cut assorted leaves using Spellbinders dies.
Ink with assorted colors of Ink and add atop the oval.
Add to card with foam adhesives for dimension

Stamp and die cut Friendship sentiment and tie to the twine.

Sweet Autumn Stamped Gift Bags

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here with some Sweet Autumn Stamped Gift Bags, perfect for holiday place settings or perhaps even for teacher treats.

Supplies:

ColorBox Crafter’s® by Ann Butler – Canyon, Deep Woods, Tangelo, Sunshine, Desert Sand
JoyClair Stamps – Hello Autumn
Spellbinders dies
Whisker Graphics Twine

Ink a leaf stamp with assorted colors of inks using an art dauber.
Stamp onto white gift bags.
Repeat until the bags are covered with assorted colors of leaves.

Re-ink the leaves and stamp the leaves lightly on white cardstock.
Stamp 2 different phrases with Deep Woods Ink over the stamped leaves.
Die cut and ink edges with Desert Sand Ink.

Add a strip of cardstock across the center.
Die cut a coordinating label and add to gift bags.
Place the oval phrases on top.
Punch holes in the top of the bags.
Fill with some little treats or goodies and tie closed with Whisker Graphics twine.
Ink Desert Sand around the gift bags for a little more definition.

Who wouldn’t love to get some sweet treats this holiday season?

Simple Faux Stitched Hello Card

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here sending you a sweet and cheery hello today.

Supplies:

ColorBox Crafter’s® by Ann Butler – Ocean Breeze, Blueberry, Desert Sand
ColorBox® Background Basics by Ann Butler – Stitch Stamps
JoyClair Stamps – Hello Autumn
Spellbinders dies
Whisker Graphics Twine

Using one of the Stitch Stamps, stamp with Blueberry ink on an angle creating a triangular design on white cardstock. Don’t be overly concerned with the center of the design since we will add cardstock across the center. Ink the edges of the panel with Desert Sand. To really hightly the design, mat the panel with navy cardstock.

Die cut 2 Spellbinders flowers. Leaving the die in place, ink with Blueberry and Ocean Breeze inks.

Place a 1″ strip of navy cardstock across the center of the panel and wrap with twine. Add the panel to the card. Cut a 2″ square of white cardstock and ink the edges with Desert Sand. Mat with navy cardstock and add to card with foam adhesives for dimension. Add the 2 flowers created above to the square, arranging them so all the petals show.

Stamp “Hello” with Blueberry Ink. Die cut and ink the edges with Ocean Breeze. Place on the card with foam adhesives.

How-to Color a Christmas Stocking

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today to show you How-to Color a Christmas Stocking quickly and easily with Ann Butler’s Crafter’s Inks.

Yes, I know it’s a bit early, but I saw this Christmas stocking in a local store and knew it would be perfect to color with Ann Butler Design’s Inks.

Supplies:

ColorBox Crafter’s® by Ann Butler Reinkers – Tangelo, Sunshine, Berry, Limelight, Aquamarine
ColorBox Crafter’s® by Ann Butler Desert Sand, Evergreen
Unity Stamp Co. – 1″ Doily Picnic

Using Reinkers can provide a really nice rich color to your project. Using assorted colors, I placed several drops of each color on an acrylic block.

Using a water brush, I added a little water to the acrylic block then proceeded to color the images. For a richer color limit the amount of water you use.

Continue adding color until all the elements have been painted.

Blend colors together if desired.

Finally, stamp a 1″ quilt stamp with Evergreen ink across the top.

This is a wonderful project to do with the kids and they will definitely enjoy opening their stocking on Christmas morning knowing they created and colored their own stocking.

Quick and Easy Fall Stamped Banner

Hi, everyone, Steph Ackerman here today to show you a Quick and Easy Fall Stamped Banner. Fall has officially arrived so let’s start decorating by creating all things fall.

Supplies:

ColorBox Crafter’s® by Ann Butler – Tangelo, Desert Sand, Evergreen, Deep Woods
Unity Stamp Co. – 2″ Stripes, Dots, Hearts,
Cricut Expression
Spellbinders dies
Whisker Graphics Twine
Beacon Adhesives
Clothes pins

Using Cricut Expression, die cut two leaves and two smaller acorns from cream cardstock. Then die cut larger pieces from brown cardstock.

Using Tangelo Ink with 2″ Dot stamp, ink all cream pieces. Randomly add Evergreen Ink for visual interest. Ink the edges with Desert Sand and Tangelo Inks.

Assemble each piece onto it’s larger mate.

Die cut additional leaves and letters from Spellbinders dies and green cardstock. Add the leaves to the larger leaves.

Assemble the acorns. Add die cut ovals to each piece with foam adhesives for dimension. Add the stamped die cut ovals and the letters on top.

Ink clothes pins with Deep Woods Ink.

Next, glue twine from Whisker Graphics to each piece and add clothes pins to each. A simple knot at each end of the twine creates the hanger.

Fall Cards…Oh so Easy

Hi everyone Steph Ackerman here with a set of fall cards. I love Fall – the changing colors, the crispy leaves, the cooling air. JoyClair has a wonderful Hello Autumn stamp set that, when paired with Ann Butler Designs inks, creates some amazing leaves.

Supplies:

I inked these maple leaves with assorted colors of inks – Tangelo, Evergreen and Canyon. Then I stamped the leaves on white cardstock and fussy cut them. Desert Sand was inked around the edges. Next, the leaves were formed for a more realistic look.

Kraft cardstock was stamped with Deep Woods Ink and a Unity Stamp. The panel was wrapped with ribbon and added to the card base. Twine was tied to the ribbon. The leaves were added to the card with foam adhesives for dimension. “Give Thanks”, from the same JoyClair stamp set was stamped in Evergreen, die cut, and added to the leaves.

My next card uses the same technique on the leaves, however, this time the multi-colored leaves were stamped directly on a panel of white. To emphasize the colors, the panel was inked with Desert Sand, then matted with orange cardstock. Ribbon, was tied around the panel before adding it to a green card.

“So Grateful” from JoyClair was stamped in Evergreen on a scrap of the stamped panel. It was then, die cut and, while still in the die, Tangelo ink was lightly inked over the sentiment. I matted it with brown and added it to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.

Witch and Pumpkin Halloween Card

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with a witch and pumpkin card for Halloween. That poor witch, I’m thinking she had a wee bit too much witches brew and got crushed by several pumpkins.

Supplies:

ColorBox Crafter’s® by Ann Butler – Tangelo, Desert Sand, Deep Woods, Evergreen
Ann Butler Designs Faux Quilting Stamps from Unity Stamps – 2″ Stripes.Dots. Hearts.; 2″ Diamonds & Plaid
JoyClair Stamps – Spooky Greetings

I began by stamping cardstock with Tangelo ink then die cut pumpkins from the cardstock. The stems were inked with Evergreen and Deep Woods inks and Desert Sand ink was added around the edges.

The shoes and hat were die cut from black cardstock. Once die cut, I left the dies in place and inked them with Desert Sand ink.

The card was stamped randomly with a plaid stamp and Desert Sand ink then a strip of corrugated cardstock was added across the card.

The pumpkins were arranged over the witches shoes and the top pumpkin was added with foam adhesives for dimension. Her hat was added to this pumpkin. The phrase from JoyClair was stamped with Deep Woods ink and inked with Desert Sand ink and added to the card with foam adhesives.
