Hey crafty friends, Einat Kessler here with a new project for you! Do you have a craft room where you work or just a desk? Do your kids disturb you sometimes, or any other family members? I’m not talking about those cute cats that come and sit on your project exactly when you don’t want them to. I’m talking about people who know how to read… It happens to me all the time! I have a craft studio where I work, or at least try to work and people come in all the time to take scissors or glue or craft knife or to ask me something…you know what I mean. Anyway I decided to gently let them know they are disturbing me by creating a little tag for my door.
I used one of the tags in my stash and I wanted to make it really colorful so I used two Ann Butler Designs Crafter’s Inks Tangelo and Blueberry. I used the Ann Butler Designs Stars art screen to create a pattern on the tag. I started with the Tangelo first and then moved the art screen a little and used the Blueberry ink. This created a double pattern in two colors. Then I want around the edges with a blending tool to smudge the ink a little. Finally I took tp roll and used it a s a stamp. I applied the Blueberry ink to the edge of the tp roll and stamped the tag. I added “Artist at Work” on the tag with a black pen.
I have to say that the tag is hanged on the door but it doesn’t really help… it still feels like a train station in here Lol! You can customize the tag by changing the art screen and the ink colors and of course you can create a bigger size sign, maybe it’ll help…
Have fun creating!
Einat
