Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my monthly post made for Ann Butler’s blog.
Today I am going to show you a kind of ” organisation with a twist” project.
I already own all 12 of Ann Butler’s Crafter’s inks from Clearsnap (waiting for much more to come in the future);and with 12 inks this is a right time to make a small swatch book for a personal use, like all ” big stars” make and I never thought of.
So I found exactly 12 pre- made tags in the right size to fit Ann Butler’s Faux Quilting 2” Unity stamps on the corner. From here it was a lot of work and a lot of fun.
First I did the cover : this black tag is hand made and I just stamped strips with a few of Ann’s inks and some very primitive masking. I didn’t even want those stripes to be the same; I really wanted to get some color collage and I heat embossed it with Clearsnap clear embossing powder as this is a cover we touch a lot.
I added pink glitter monogram letters and some ribbons and the cover was done.
All tags were made in the same way: I stamped a triangle Faux Quilting 2” stamp on the left corner each time with a different ink and mostly with a different stamp. Each tag was inked around and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. As my tags are white, we can see the actual color of the inks.
