ANN BUTLER

I have been blessed by so many things in my life; I have a loving supportive husband, five amazing children, and fifteen precious grandchildren.  I walked away from a job that I loved eleven years ago for oh so many reasons…..one of which was that the job was 24/7 and if I was going to work that hard for someone I felt the time was right to put my energy into my own business within the Creative Industries as that is where my heart was.  I had been teaching, designing and creating projects for manufacturers part time for years along with my 24/7 job and family so when our youngest graduated and went off to college the time seemed right to pursue my passion….

Little did I know that the timing was just right as so many amazing things have happened in the past eleven years.  I am now a licensed designer with Unity Stamp Company, Earth Safe Finishes, Emerald Creek, ArtFoamies, StencilGirl and Rhinestone Genie; with more product lines in the works.  I have also had the opportunity to teach more across the US and internationally.

And perhaps the biggest thing that has happened is Bella Crafts Publishing…I am the founder, co-owner, and Publisher along with my amazing and talented friend… Lisa Rojas.  We pooled our talents and years of experience together bringing you the first ever FREE Digital Craft Magazine, Bella Crafts!  Our premier issue launched ten years ago with 24 pages and a couple hundred downloads.  Our most current issues are between 58 – 82 pages of crafty goodness with tens of thousands downloads of every issue.  We have expanded into eBooks, our most recent is Pocket Notebooks with designer Eileen Hull.  Be sure to check it out along with our other eBooks at Bella Crafts Publishing, simply click on the eBooks tab for a drop-down menu.
