Creating this Amazing Journal Page using lots of stamps, art screens and inks by Ann Butler. They were so easy to mix and match patterns to create an amazing background in the journal book.
This Journal Book is being put together for my only Grandson who is playing Hockey and going to school about 5 hours away from home. This is his first adventure away on his own and I thought a journal to compile some memories he left back home, some inspiring quotes to make his day when he is down and also to add his own notes etc to have memories of his time there.

Sure hope you enjoyed the video … and maybe I gave you some ideas of what to do to create your own journal to send to those loved ones that are on their own for the first time.
Here are a few close views to showcase some details.
Step 1:
This photo shows the full double page from journal book after I finished stamping, stenciling and inking the complete background.
Step 2:
After the background is done and dries… you are now ready to mat the photos, die cut the hearts and “Smile” title and place them on the pages. Photos were cut down so finished size wouldn’t cover the whole page/ or background.
