Fall is here so I thought it would be a great time to create a Faux Quilted Pumpkin Pillow using my Faux Quilting Stamps and Crafter’s Inks.
This Faux Quilted Pumpkin Pillow is quick and easy and can be created in an afternoon!
Starting the first row approximately three inches down and 1 inch in, stamp a 2″ triangle and then five 2 squares followed by a 2″ triangle on the muslin using Tangelo.
To create the stem, ink half of the 2″ square double stripes stamp with Deep Woods and stamp it just above the third stamped square of the first row. Then, using the 1″ Leaves triangle, stamp a leaf of either side of the stem using Deep Woods, see photo below.
Heat set with iron.
Place Soft & Toasty behind stamped muslin.
Stitch between stamped images and…
diagonally through them.
Place stamped and stitched muslin onto second piece of muslin and stitch around leaving a two to three inch opening.
Stuff with Poly-fil. Stitch opening closed.
Enjoy your Faux Quilted Pumpkin Pillow!
